Dustin Olson, Managing Partner at Olson Strategies and Advertising, joined Newswire on Newsmax to discuss Greenland as President Trump continues exploring the possibility of annexing it. They also discussed the VA Lieutenant Governor’s swearing-in and Michael Cohen’s recent statement that he was ‘pressured’ to turn on Trump.

President Trump Makes Greenland A Strategic Priority

The conversation started with a discussion on Greenland, which has been in the news recently because of President Trump insisting the U.S. needs it to secure our hemisphere. Olson nodded to the way President Trump handles issues like these, creating a possibility out of nothing:

“If you'd asked me a year ago if we would be seriously talking about annexing Greenland, I would have said that was crazy. We would have never gotten there. But he [Trump] clearly has taken the world from the position of this is never going to happen, to this could possibly happen.”

Democrats Move Quickly to Implement Radical Policies in VA

Olson was then asked about the Lieutenant Governor of Virginia swearing in on the Quran, and he pointed to Virginia’s new leadership as a whole, taking more radical measures as a bigger concern.

“In Virginia, our new governor has moved very quickly to put in a lot of radical legislation. We see them moving with a slew of new tax increases going against the affordability message that she carried for the campaign.”

Michael Cohen Canceled After Saying He Was “Pressured and Coerced” to Go Against Trump

Lastly, Olson commented on Michael Cohen’s recent admittance to being pressured by Letitia James, Alvin Bragg, and others to work against President Trump. Olson mentioned how American Pulse polling consistently reveals the public’s concerns about double standards in the legal system.

“In our polling, consistently over the years, we ask about a double standard in the legal system. It's roughly about 80%, with majorities across both parties, that believe there's a double standard.”
